FAQs
Does installation require drilling?
Installation varies by SKU. Some safes use factory mounting points; others require drilling or self-tapping screws. Follow the instructions and fitment requirements for your exact product.
How long does installation take?
Most installations take about 10-20 minutes with basic tools. Installation time can vary depending on the vehicle, console layout, and your experience.
Can I install it myself?
Yes. Most products are designed for DIY installation using basic hand tools. If you are unsure about wiring, trim removal, or fitment, ask a professional installer for help.
What tools do I need?
Most installations require simple tools such as a socket wrench, screwdriver, flashlight, and gloves. Some vehicles may require a specific socket size.
What should I do if the bolt holes do not line up?
Stop installation and do not force the safe into place. Confirm your vehicle year, trim, console style, and product handle. Contact support with photos of your console and product label.
Where should I keep the backup keys?
Keep backup keys outside the safe and outside the locked vehicle when possible. Do not lock the backup keys inside the safe.
